  • 1) After a climb while on the ground reflect on your last performance.



    2) You want to select a skill or action that will have the biggest impact on your next attempt.



    3) This could be anything but common examples are the following: 


    - Pull with the toe on “this move”


    - Take a breath “here” so I can generate better on the next move.


    - Don’t just look at the hold but see the holds texture.

    
- Engage my core when I hit “this hold”

Essential knowledge to be Effective 

To embark on any skill builder successfully, it is crucial to have a strong foundation of essential information.   • 1) On a climb in the Easy learning zone, reflect on how you just climbed and select a single skill or action that will improve your performance when you repeat the climb.



    2) Similar to the 1st progression but climb in the Engaged & Focused leaning zone.



    3) Practice this skill on climbs that you should send in 2-4 attempts.

    

4) Practice this routine in on multi day projects.

    

5) Practice this routine under a time restriction like 4 minute boulders. This is similar to a Bouldering Comp format.

  • You do not need to practice this on every attempt. Set a goal of practicing it "X" number of times today.
