Primary Information for Executing this Exercise


To effectively embark on this exercise routine, there are a few key pieces of essential information you need to know. These primary details will guide you in performing the exercises correctly and maximizing the benefits of your workout.

  • Logging all your climbs on the app make knowing what you have done easy.

    Reminder = Friendly nudge to remember to do the right thing.

  • To flash boulders in 10 minutes or less. If you fail to flash the boulder attempt to send it in the remaining time.

    Goal = Each exercise will have a general stated purpose.

  • 1) Find a boulder in the app that is in your flash range or below.



    2) Practice your ground game routine before you attempt the boulder.



    3) If you flash the boulder, reflect on your experience and record lessons learned. Move to the rest period and start the next set.

    4) 

If you do not send use the remaining time to send the boulder.



    5) Begin your rest period and repeat the process on your next set.

Essential knowledge to be Effective 

To embark on any exercise routine successfully, it is crucial to have a strong foundation of essential information. This knowledge will ensure that you perform the exercises appropriately to maximize the benefits of your workout. This section will provide you with the necessary depth to best perform this exercise.

  • 1) Vary your challenge level from “Warm Up” grade to high end “Flash” range.



    2) Start in the upper “Warm Up” range and don’t move up until you flash a boulder.

    3) Vary your difficulty so you have a variety of experiences. If you are feeling unstoppable bump up into your upper Flash range.

    4) Stay in the “Flash” range for all your sets until you feel discouraged and drop it way down to gain your confidence again.

    Progressions = An exercise might have a series of stages to progress through as you improve in your competency level.

  • Do your best to bring the correct type of intensity at the right moment.



    We have a limited about of intensity and the quality can vary. Learn how to conserve & recharge your intensity levels.

    Intensity = Explanation of the desired level of effort for this exercise.

  • Perfect your ability to anticipate where your focus should be placed or strategize for any challenges you might be presented with on the flash or additional attempts.
