To embark on any skill builder successfully, it is crucial to have a strong foundation of essential information. 1) Start with experiencing a quality belly breath and connecting with your next handhold just before you pull onto the wall.
2) Now expand to have absolute connection to the first toe placement that allows you to leave the ground. SEE & FEEL the pressure of the hold on your toe.
3) Next, Become aware of your body language and actions while walking to the base of the wall. Make sure it’s what you want to express to the world.
4) When you chalk up feel and hear the texture of the chalk on your hands as you brush the chalk into your skin.
5) When you put on your shoes feel and wiggle your toes into the correct position in your shoe. If you have shoe laces feel the tension on the various point of your foot.
6) Brush the holds and imagine how they will feel including the feet.
7) Sequence the climb with your eyes towards the ground. Only look up when you are not able to recall the holds.
8) Transform your sequencing to rehearsal practice by adding strategy and emotion to the climb.
9) Reflect and determine your next intention.
